President's Message

Dear IMA Carolinas Council Officers and Directors, and IMA Chapter Leaders in the Carolinas:

Happy Spring 2019! It has been so cold and rainy, but that is now all behind us and we need to set sail for sunny days and what better way than a sunny day at the beach in April.

Now that I have your attention, the Spring conference is just around the corner. We have over 60 registrations so, all our speakers/topics are complete, and we just need you there!

 The group block of rooms at a reduced rate will expire this Friday, March 29th at midnight. They are going quickly, so don’t hesitate in locking in your room at this great price.

Our Carolinas Council Spring  Conference is scheduled for  Thursday and Friday, April  25th and 26th  at the beautiful Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC . Celebrating its 48th year, the Carolinas Council’s Annual Spring Conference continues to create exceptional value for attendees through a unique blend of tradition and innovation. Our 2019 Conference is designed to help accounting and finance professionals develop the key competencies needed to become strategic partners within their enterprise. April 25th from 5 to 7 PM, Otherwise we will see you at 7:00 am for check-in on Thursday morning along with a scrumptious breakfast.


On Saturday April 27th the Carolinas Council Board will meet and all chapter officers and directors are welcome to join us for the council meeting. We welcome and value your input, so if you can’t attend in person, please join us via the web.

I trust each IMA chapter in the Carolinas Council has been holding chapter meetings and technical programs for the year, keeping your chapter websites updated, and identifying well-qualified and diverse leadership for next year’s officer and director positions.
